Mens Hockey - General Info
Stroud Hockey Club have 4 Men's hockey teams - 1st XI, 2nd XI and 3rd XI plus a Men's Badgers XI to give the more advanced juniors a regular game each Saturday, and the opportunity to play with a few mature adults for structure and coaching on the pitch.

Coaching\Training
Training takes place on Tuesdays 7:30pm-9pm. Players from all teams train together giving everyone the opportunity to get to know each other.
The men have their own training slot and coaches (Robert Fynn and Derek Pittaway). Derek has a wealth of knowledge gained from his many years playing at National League and West premier level. He has also represented the England Masters side for a number of tournaments, also as captain. Robert has played for Stroud for many years, but worked hard to give something back to the club by umpiring regularly and he is a qualified level 2 coach. Derek and Robert also coach county JAC and JDC squads.
