GOOD WARM UP FOR RESTART OF LEAGUE MATCHES

Victory in this match rested upon which side dominated the mid-field.  In the first half Thornbury had control with their centre half and right half proving to be effective forwards and Thornbury scored before the half time whistle.  During the second half Stroud's marking of those players meant that Stroud had control of the midfield, allowing Ellie Towler to score with just 2 minutes remaining.  Kathy Williams' marking and Jordon Turnbull's tackling were excellent and GK Aleasha Holder made a number of important saves, as did the Thornbury keeper, to leave the final result a draw.
