19 points 30 goals 7 games unbeaten

Stroud Mens 3s continued their string of good results to bring another 3 points home against Bouron and Sherborne on Saturday. Recent results make good reading with 30 goals in 7 games and 19 points. Determined performances on all parts of the pitch made Stroud look good in posession of the ball and resulted in some good team and individual goals. Alex Elders strike from the top of the D, Andy Readers fantastic individual goal from a quick break on the halfway line and James Testars battling in the follow up to a short corner outlined in a dominant period of play in the second half. This on top of goals from captain Chris Bargh and a short corner strike from Matt Watts in the closely fought first half of the game put the result beyond doubt. The result was satisfying as the previous fixture saw Stroud lose 4-0 away at Bourton. Sitting a point off third with 6 fixtures remaining, the 3s continue to build on their good team performances. Keep up the good work lads!
