About Stroud Hockey Club
At Stroud Hockey Club we run:
- 3 Mens hockey teams
- 2 Ladies hockey teams
- A Badgers (boys) hockey team
- A Vixens (girls) hockey team
- A Mixed hockey team
- 3 Indoor hockey teams
- A thriving Junior hockey section
The 3 Men's teams play in the Wales & West Hockey League - North Division 1, Hereford & Glos Division 1 and new for the 2008/09 season the 3XI team will start in Hereford & Glos Division 2.
The 2 Ladies' teams play in the West Clubs Women's Hockey League, Brunel Division 1 and Severn Division 3, respectively.
The Badgers / Vixens teams play regularly - Badgers on a Saturday, Vixens on a Sunday - home and away games. Badgers / Vixens hockey compromises the more advanced / confident juniors with up to 3 adults as an introduction to adult hockey.
Most matches are played on a Saturday except for Indoor hockey (during the summer) on Wednesday evenings and Mixed hockey ones where victims must haul themselves out of bed on a Sunday.
All standards are welcome from Beginners upwards ... we have nurtured future Internationals, too!!
Fees
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP / Signing On Fee
- All Members: £20-00
Match Fees (PER MATCH)
- Full Playing Member: £10-00
- Under 16s & Students: £5.00
- Unemployed: £6.00
- Mixed Hockey: £5.00 (members who also play Saturdays), £6.00 (members only playing mixed)
Training Fee
- Junior training: £2.00 per session
- Senior training: FREE
