Stroud Hockey Club have 3 ladies hockey teams - a 1XI and 2XI and new for the 2006/2007 season a Ladies Vixens XI to give the more advanced juniors a regular game each Saturday, and the opportunity to play a few mature adults.

Coaching\Training
Training takes place on Tuesdays 7pm-8:30pm. Players from all teams train together giving everyone the opportunity to get to know each other.
The ladies have their own coach (Caren Spindler). Caren Spindler finished her hockey playing career outfield as a defender for Stroud, but spent most of her hockey playing career in goal for her county and premier league teams. Caren is now a qualified coach and a level 2 umpire for the ladies west premier leagues. Her laid back approachable style of coaching with this wealth of experience makes Caren a valuable asset to the Ladies section of the club.
