Stroud hockey club are excited about it's junior section as its the future!
It is run by qualified coaches from the senior section of the club (Contact Head Coach, Robert Fynn - 01453 764514\email robertjfynn(at)hotmail.com - for more details). No experience is necessary & sticks can be provided. All juniors should have shin pads and a gum shield.
The juniors play in under 11 and under 13 tournaments against other local clubs in Gloucestershire. There is also regular weekend games for under 16 players in Boys & Girls Badgers hockey. A Badgers hockey squad compromises 3 senior players and up to 13 junior players. This allows junior players a safe way into more competitive hockey.

Coaching\Training
Training takes place on Tuesdays 6pm-7pm and costs £2 per session. £20 subscription per year
The juniors have their own training slot and coach (Robert Fynn). Robert is also Stroud mens coach. Robert has played for Stroud for many years, but worked hard to give something back to the club by regularly umpiring and taking the level 3 coaching award. Robert also coaches junior county JAC and JDC squads.
