Junior training is taking a break over half term, training resumes on the 20th February and runs until 13th March at both sites.

call for former players

A call is out for former players of Stroud (Stragglers) Hockey Club.

This is our 90th season since the club was founded. Numbers permitting it is hoped an informal reunion for both men and women can take place 7pm,Thurs 8 March at The Clothiers Arms, Stroud. £10 inc finger buffet. Please contact Sandra Glass or Ann Adams or via 'contact us' website page by 8 Feb.

All ex-members are also very welcome to attend the more formal end of season dinner at Stonehouse Court. Please see below for further details and to register intention to attend.      It would be great to see as many ex players as possible and anyone else with an association with the club at one or both events.

The club has very little documented history of the early years. If aanyone can help fill in any part of our history it would be much appreciated.
